Each panel has 17 stitches

Row 1 (RS):  *K2tog, yf, k1, yf, sl 1, ka, psso*, k3, yf, sl 1, k1, psso, k2, repeat from * to * once more.

Rows 2, 4 & 6 (WS): Purl

Row 3: [K2tog, yf, k1, ys, sl 1, k1, psso, k1] twice, k2tog, yf, k1, yf, sl 1, k1, psso

Row 5: *K2tog, yf, k1, yf, sl 1, k1, psso*, k2tog, yf, k3, yf, sl 1, k1, psso, repeat from * to * once more

These 6 rows complete the pattern. Repeat.

This pattern makes a lovely all over lace pattern by repeating the 17 stitches to make a continuous pattern. It also works well as a singular 17 stitch panel.

Ears of Corn

Ears of Corn
Ears of Corn

I quite like this simple little lace stitch. It would look lovely in a baby or child’s sweater or as an addition to a woman’s sweater. It would also look lovely as a baby blanket.

The swatch is a large one to give you an idea of what the stitch pattern would look like.
