A very quick post to tell you all that my new design, Irish Rose is now available on Ravelry.

The combination of an all-over lace and cable stitch pattern bordered by a k1, p1 rib stitch and reverse stocking stitch defines this elegant cardigan.

The cardigan is knitted flat from the bottom up working the back, two fronts and sleeves separately.

It also features set-in sleeves.

The two front bands are knitted and joint to each front using mattress stitch and the neck band is worked by picking up stitches across both fronts and back neck and knitting 8 rows in k1, p1 rib stitch.

While the cardigan has been designed to be knitted in 100% merino DK by Touch Yarns there is no reason why a substitute yarn can be used as long as gauge is met.
